This is a very attractive floor, 15mm thick with real oak and birch cross-ply backing for ultimate stability. As long as this floor is fitted on a level substrate, it should last 250 years. Moreover, when fitted with a BCITO NZ qualified fitted fitters (we have plenty of these qualified subcontractors) the manufacturer gives a 30 year warranty.
For anyone dealing with asthma or other breathing related medical condition, real wood flooring is a far healthier option- as dust doesn’t settle into carpet that perpetuates an unhealthy breathing atmosphere.
