Site Engineer (Entry level position)
Halverson Civil is currently looking to offer the opportunity to a recent graduate as a junior site engineer to join our team and kickstart your career.
Halverson Civil is a well-established civil construction contractor who has been operating since 1994. We are continuing to grow as a company and have opportunities for growth within the company.
Your key role will be to support our retaining, construction and ground anchor teams. You will be working with and assisting our construction / project manager performing various tasks such as:
Ensuring all QA documents are completed for each project
Ensuring all health and safety documentation is complete for each project.
Liaising with Construction / Project manager and assisting with project management.
Tender preparation and quantity surveying
Assist with Site Surveying / Setout using GPS survey system
On site Anchor and pile testing
Site monitoring and record keeping
To be considered you must have the following attributes as a minimum:
This is an entry level position so no prior experience is required, however listing any previous industry experience would be of benefit to your application.
Civil Engineering Diploma or similar tertiary qualification
The ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
A good understanding and the ability to use MS Excel, Word, Project etc.
Your own transport to get to and from work.
Full Class 1 Drivers licence is preferred
A positive attitude and reliable
A Willingness to learn
Normal hours of work are 7.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
