Description
I'm on the look for a dairy farm assistant roll for the coming season. I am currently sole charge and running 270 mixed bred cows through a 30 aside HB with ACR's and inshed feed system (PKE). I'm honest and have a great work ethic, I can identify sick or lame stock and treat them. I can detect cows on heat or cows that have calved. I can calf rear etc I can ride both 2 and 4 wheeler bikes. I can identify diffrent pest weeds in paddocks and deal with them. I have some skills on the tractor but I'm wanting more experience with that. I have a can do attitude and a passion for the industry. I have 2.5years experience farming and grew up on farms in both north and south as a child. I maintain a high standard of work and always get the job done. I'm looking for employers who can help me grow in this industry and want to teach and see their staff upskill. Looking in Waikato areas for now but will consider anything.
