Open Country Dairy is New Zealand's second largest dairy manufacturer, producing a range of quality dairy ingredients that are exported globally. There are currently three manufacturing sites throughout New Zealand with the head office based in Auckland.
Southern Milk Transport currently provides the milk collection service for the Awarua site and is responsible for the milk collection planning and dispatching for the Wanganui site.
To support this we are now seeking Shift Supervisors to join our team based in Awarua.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes, qualifications and experience:
Strong leadership skills
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work
Proven MS Office skills, in particular MS Word & MS Excel
A disciplined approach with attention to detail
Positive can-do attitude
This an interesting and challenging role that will suit ambitious candidates. Prior transport and/or milk collection experience would be preferred but not essential.
You will be required to work shift work covering days, nights and weekends on a fixed roster of 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts and 4 off.
We are looking for self-motivated team players with strong communication skills as you will work closely with the milk collection and manufacturing teams as well as senior managers.
