Would anyone out there be willing to take me on on a fixed term contract on a sheep/beef, dairy grazing or dry stock farm (no deer) with accomodation. My fixed term role ends on February 15 leaving me less than 4 weeks to find something new as my current employer doesn’t need year round help. I left my job on a dairy goat farm to pursue a career Shepherding. I’ve got basic to intermediate experience in almost all general farm tasks built up over almost two years total farm experience but only have roughly 3-4 months Shepherding experience. I can get interviews but I’m also getting a lot of ‘no’s in favour of more experienced applicants. Just wanting a little help to get the experience everyone is looking for. I have 3 dogs. Greater Waikato preferred but anywhere considered.
