The Christian Education Trust is a well-established Bay of Plenty based Christian organisation. We hold a vision to be a biblically based Christ-centred educational community, making disciples whose servant hearted influence transforms lives and culture. The Christian Education Trust-Services Provision provides financial, property, administration and development support to each one of the Christian Education Trust Entities.
We employ approximately 23 staff across the operations covering all aspects of our services provision.
We are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified candidate to fill our Accounts Officer role. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting in managing the financial activities of the Christian Education Trust and the Bethlehem Early Learning Centres.

About You:

You will be able to demonstrate a solid alignment with our organisation’s Mission, Vision and Values. You will also have some experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable. You will be a driven self-starter with a people-oriented approach who will enjoy working within a close-knit Finance team in this exciting and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the team at the Christian Education Trust and Bethlehem Early Learning Centre in running the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Credit Control.
• Supporting the Finance Team Leader in general administration tasks.
• Financial Reconciliations.
