Administration & Accounts role
Based at Reception Desk
Locally owned and operated business
Modern Offices in Phillipstown, Christchurch

Our client, I.C. Switchgear, is an established manufacturer of electrical equipment based in Christchurch. They have a reputation as a professional organisation that produces a high quality product to a wide range of customers throughout New Zealand and off-shore.

Hours of work:

30 hours per week - Monday to Friday - flexible timings to suit the right Applicant

There may be a requirement to be flexible for more hours from time to time to meet the ongoing needs of the business to cover holiday leave.

Key responsibilities of this role will be:

Reception:

Front desk reception duties
Ensuring clients receive friendly and courteous customer-focused service
Telephone enquiries, returning calls and taking messages

Administration:

Checking off invoices against purchase orders
Reconciling of Accounts Payable statements with invoices
Processing accounts receivable invoices and related data entry
Print charts and component labels using relevant printer
Filing
Other general administration duties as required

The ideal applicant will:

Have previous experience working in a similar role
Have excellent computer skills using Microsoft word, excel and outlook
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Have strong organisational skills
Be a problem solver / Good Initiative
