Hansa Products is an innovative and successful family business who have forged a reputation as specialists in the design, manufacture and sales of high quality wood chippers. A Hansa Chipper is built to last and they are so popular that recently we sold our 35,000th Chipper! – we can’t make them fast enough!
The Role
We require an Assembler to join our growing team. The role involves working in a small skilled team to assemble and test our Commercial range of wood-chippers. Tasks include mechanical assembly of machine parts, installation and testing of electrical wiring looms and installation of hydraulic lines and components. Ability to follow SOP’s, electrical and hydraulic drawings and work to Hansa’s high quality standards is essential, as this is what Hansa customers expect from their chippers. Hansa have expanded into export markets in Australia and Europe. Making a right first-time approach even more important as our chippers go round the world.
The Person
We are looking for candidates with strong experience in mechanical assembly, ideally in a manufacturing or automotive environment. Some electrical and hydraulics experience would be an advantage, however specific training will be provided to ensure you are in tune with the Hansa way. Most importantly, applicants must have a positive attitude, fantastic work ethic, and a great team focus.
