More About The Role

The hard work has been done! The fund is raised, and a pipeline of great intellectual property has been sourced and ready for you to sell! Your job is to use the existing skills and team capabilities to shape the story and value proposition for you to then shop the intellectual property in the international market.

This company sees hundreds of unique intellectual property deals each month across its global network. Many of the ideas are not suitable for traditional business growth, but are perfect to sell into the international market. This will be your primary objective: to monetise IP sales into the international market.

The good news is the fund capital has been raised and is ready to deploy to finance the monetisation of these high quality intangible assets.

So Who Are You & What Is Your Profile?

You will have experience in selling (hustling) into international markets to big players. Experience in commercial or investment banking transactions would be a major advantage. This experience could have been gained from a variety of backgrounds including Professional services, M&A, Start-up/Growth Businesses, Investment Banking, Sales roles, Private Equity or similar.

Having an understanding or experience in licensing and sale of intellectual property and technology commercialization is an advantage. As you will be running a fund, some understanding of venture capital and early stage investment would help. You will also be comfortable with creating briefs and sales material for multinational companies.

While it is great to to understand strategy and theory - this role demands someone who knows how to deliver real world business results: deals done, innovations monetised, investment returns generated.

You need to be proactive, have a great attitude and the ambition to perform at a high level. You need to be highly organized and professional and have the confidence to make decisions and take ownership but also know when to ask for help. You should also be comfortable with presenting to corporate and investor audiences.
