A rapidly growing sole practice with an expanding portfolio of clients. Our firm is now seeking a junior accountant who has experience servicing SME clients in a CAANZ public practice environment. Our firm has a flat management structure - reporting directly to the Director the successful candidate will be presented with an opportunity to work on a portfolio of clients and provided opportunities for professional development.
The key focus of the role will include.
Completion of annual financial statements and tax returns for clients
Monthly or periodic reporting for clients as required
Completion of Inland Revenue returns such as PAYE, GST, and FBT
Adhoc project work including budgeting and adhoc analysis reporting
Various other work typically undertaken in a Chartered Accountants Office
Required experience and skills:
Must be a provisional member of CAANZ and near completion of CAANZ module studies
18 months or more working on a CAANZ Public Practice Firm
Xero certified and proficient in accounting software: ifirm, Xero, MYOB, ipayroll & strata master
Experience and familiarity in the body corporate sector would be an advantage
