Senior Business Advisor Group Systems and Business Support – Regulatory Services

anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism
gambling
digital safety.


As a risk-based, responsive modern regulator, we have embarked on an ambitious transformational change programme aimed at ensuring we can provide effective regulatory services in increasingly complex and digital World.

We are looking for an experienced, tech-savvy Senior Business Advisor to join a newly established Group Systems and Support team to provide us with strategic and business technology advice. Working closely with vendors and the DIA enterprise, you will ensure we have the technological systems, services and capabilities we need to support our regulatory work. This includes having clear sense of our business needs and understanding how evolving technology can help us to become a more effective regulator.

You will join a new team within the Strategy and Accountability Directorate that will help us to have the business systems and technological capabilities we need to support our ongoing transformation and development as a future-focused regulator. Through this team, you will work closely with our departmental enterprise Technology Services and Solutions group to ensure:

we are effective primary product managers and can meet our business requirements business system owners interests
we have effective whole-of-life management of technology products and services by working closely with the Department, group business system owners and product managers
our strategic and business interests are synthesised into a coherent and actionable strategic direction
we have the systems and services we need to deliver effectively now and into the future including having the information, data structures, and analytical tools we need to make informed, risk-based decisions and to deliver regulatory services in new and innovative ways
we can identify and escalate issues and risks and issues and to support effective governance and oversight of our technology and information projects
our systems remain appropriately connected and can effectively leverage the Department’s enterprise systems and services.
