Te Tomika Trust provides community based support to tangata whaiora / consumers with a suspected, diagnosed or developing mental illness.
We have a vacancy within our service for a Registered Social Workers to join our team, working with Pepi (Infants), Tamariki (Child) and Rangatahi (Youth).
The successful candidate should have the following:
• A qualification in Social Work recognised by the Social Workers Registration Board and current practising certificate.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the mental health sector
• Ability to work within a "Kaupapa Maori" philosophy.
• Full clean driver’s license
• Affinity and knowledge of the youth sector, youth centred practise with a strength based approach.
• A strong team focus with a love to share your knowledge in order to build the capacity and capability of the community team.
• Able to work autonomously, use your initiative and be accountable for outcomes.
• A high level of time management and organisational skills.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication skills
