Seeking an experienced part time LBP Draftsperson in NZ. Remote / work from home role, small supportive team, competitive salary (dependent on exp)

With a shortage of housing in the New Zealand market, you will have the opportunity to help drive our vision of making housing solutions more accessible for thousands of Kiwis! Your ideas can help shape our trajectory in the market and continually improve and diversify our range of new buildings and home designs.

Since our launch in October 2021, we have been experiencing a huge demand for our cabins which means we need more help to build them! Our range includes cabins sized from 14sqm up to 78sqm with many floorplan variations for each. Our modular cabins are built in factory and then transported to the client’s site meaning a faster, smoother build process for everyone involved.
Due to this demand, in 2022-2024, we are looking to expand by opening a new workshop/factory in based in Auckland. This will mean a quicker buying process/wait time, efficient delivery and a show home for our clients based up North.

Applications are sought from candidates who are motivated team players and have the following:

LBP Qualified – Design 1 or 2 (candidates without LBP may apply as well)
Solid technical knowledge of design detailing, with a sound understanding of NZ3604
Experience in the design industry
Continued Development
You will be required to keep your CPD points and technical knowledge up to date.
To ensure that your LBP licence is kept current as per the NZ Building code.
You will be expected to attend required seminars and events in order to do so even if they fall outside of normal working hours.
