We are seeking to employ a Qualified Electrician to join our company Mike Wieblitz Electrical Ltd. This job is based in Hokitika but we do work up and down the West Coast area.

This position involves a wide variety of work for our high profile and loyal clients. We prided ourselves on customer satisfaction, professionalism, reliability and service. We are also members of NZ Trade Group and Master Electricians.

As an Electrician you will be required to perform all facets of the trade. As the role involves a wide variety of Electrical work, we are seeking an individual who is adaptable and keen to learn more.

The successful applicant will offer:

Full clean NZ Drivers Licence.
Current NZ Practicing Licence and registration
Have a dedication to quality workmanship
Residential and domestic electrical experience, (PLC and Automation experience would be an advantaged)
Understanding of current electrical standards and regulations plus health and safety practices
Ability to use software programs
Able to work alone or in a team environment
Strong communication skills and customer focused to develop relationships
The ability to lead and manage jobs and confidentially make decisions
Time management and organisational skills

Key Tasks/ Responsibilities of this position:

All residential and light commercial work
Heat pump installation
Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in both residential and commercial projects
Client liaison
Managing jobs to completion
Maintaining records and files associated with projects
Efficient and correct management of stock
Managing and Mentoring our Electrical Apprentices in their training
Communicating effectively with Managing Director and Administration staff
