Description

We are a busy holiday home/property management company located in Lake Tekapo, South Canterbury. We manage over 50 houses that are rented out for short term rental. These are cleaned and maintained after every stay by a team of housekeepers. This ranges from a team of five housekeepers off peak and twelve housekeepers during peak season. We welcome thousands of visitors in a year.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate they meet the following requirements:

· Have a relevant New Zealand qualification and a minimum of 6 months’ relevant work experience; or at least 36 months’ relevant work experience without a relevant qualification
· Have a full New Zealand driving licence
· Have excellent communication skills and be confident dealing with staff, employer and customer requests
· An ability to select and train new staff
· An ability to perform front office and reception duties on occasion
· Be able to work unsupervised
· Be able to pass a drug test if required
· Be able to provide written references with contactable referees
. Will have to work when needed, able to work split shifts, public holidays & weekends and on call after hours

General maintenance skills, ability to undertake a range of small repairs.

Qualifying applicants will need to demonstrate a mature, responsible and can do attitude to their work, as well as having a pleasant and friendly attitude and the ability to communicate well with others.
