The successful candidate is expected to work efficiently with our existing team roster and possess reasonable skills for performing key functions within the shop.
>Provide high quality and consistent haircutting services for our customers base with guidance from the store supervisor for complex hair styles
>Quick haircuts without compromising quality is of vital essence to iRazor’s business philosophy and therefore you must have the right mix of speed and haircutting skills
>Consult with the store supervisor for hair treatment instructions and follow the advise
>Promote iRazor Salon’s hair & beauty goods and services to customers
>Work in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations per NZ standards

>Perform men/boys haircuts for wide varieties of styles and trends
>Perform women/girls haircuts for wide varieties of styles and trends
>Perform hair colour treatments for men and women on varying lengths and hair types
>Perform hair highlights and foil-based colour treatments for men and women on varying lengths and hair types
>Perform hair perms treatments for men and women
>Performs Hair Tattoos
>Perform hair straightening treatments for men and women
>Perform Brazilian treatments on women
>Look after the customer payments/cash/eftpos register manning
>Run daily sales summaries on eFTPOS/Cash register
>Tidy-up the shop, tools and salon equipments sanitation
>Occasional knowledge sharing with other staffs for haircut trends and improvement tips

Job Requirements:

iRazor as a home-grown salon brand values customer service skills more than anything else. The following attributes are advantageous/big plus to be a successful candidate:

>At least 3 years work experience in a salon or hair & beauty shop and performs hair tattoos
>Dynamic and upbeat personality to >keep customers satisfied and resolve challenging situations
>An open-minded team player which accepts feedback from other team members especially the supervisors and managers

You will be working on rotational rostered schedule, Mondays through Sundays (with 2 weekdays off) between the hours of 9am to 6Pm(Mondays to Wednesdays & Saturdays) 9am-8pm(Thursdays to Fridays) and 9am-5pm on Sundays
