Four Small paws is a dog daycare center in Upper Hutt specifically for small breeds. We have been running for 3 years, Our busy center provides a warm safe place where dogs can learn and play, In order to run this way, we must have the staff that can integrate with the dogs and manage the fun to keep it safe
We are looking for two part time positions.
Morning shift: 6:45 to 9 am. 12 hours a week for Morning Pick ups (dog transport) and then settling the dogs into the center and helping with the morning arrivals (This position could finish at 8:45) if you need to get somewhere by 9 am.
Midday shift: 11 am to 2 pm: (15 hours) a week. Help to cover the lunch breaks, share the transport duties of the half day dogs and general staff duties in the center.
The successful person must have a full clean driver’s licence, be a NZ citizen or have permanent residency. A great sense of humor and sense of fun, Be able to play and engage with the dogs.
These positions would be ideal for someone who has the animal behavior certificate or currently studying it but not essential. Must be computer literate.
There is also the opportunity to cover other shifts as needed.
