K Nail Salon is based on the Kapiti Coast, and you will be working in a fast-paced environment so the ideal applicant must be able to work efficiently while under pressure.
This is not an entry level position.

What are we looking for:
-Minimum 2 years’ experience in the nails industry in general, ESPECIALLY in doing SNS dipping powder.
-It is essentials that applicants MUST know how to perform a full range of nail services including acrylics, SNS dipping powder on natural nails and extension nails, and nail arts.

Daily job responsibilities involved in the role:
Use SNS technique to do on natural nails and extension nails.
Able to finish a set of SNS in a certain amount of time.
Perform high-quality manicures and pedicures with gel polish and normal polish, and also all salon treatments and packages.
Prepare clients' nails for enhancements such as acrylic nails, gel nails, nail extensions, SNS dipping powder.
Decorate detailed nail art.
Ability to cut cuticles - cuticles care and removal
Have knowledge about nail disorders can affect the nails, including deformity and dystrophy, infections, ingrown toenails, and double nails.
Assist and provide appropriate training to new staff.
Provide all treatments professionally and accurately at all time.
Ensure that internal and external customer service given within the department is to the highest standard at all time.
Understanding of sanitation and sterilisation standards.
Knowledgable in specialised treatments and products available.
Prepare and clean beauty salon in-between appointments.
Have great conversation skills and keep it professional with customers.

Hours of work and Remuneration:
Approximately $25.5 per hour depending on qualification and/or experience.
Applicants for this position must be able to work on weekends and public holidays.
Applicants must also be able to pass criminal and drug tests and should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
