We are currently looking for a suitably experienced Service Manager to run our busy workshop located in Templeton, Christchurch.
JJ's sell and service leading brands including Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Challenger, Lely, Welger, Giltrap, Moreni, Farmet, and Slurryquip. Established in 1958 JJ Ltd is one of the leading agricultural machinery dealers, with 6 branches covering the majority of the South Island. The Southland family owned business moved into Canterbury in 2009 and has not looked back since.
With the rapid growth we are experiencing we require a new Service Manager to take control of our busy workshop. This job is ideal for someone who wants to step up and make their mark.
Job Summary:
To effectively run a busy agricultural machinery workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaising and building relationships with existing and future customers
• Booking in and allocating jobs
• Organising emergency callouts
• Hands on supervision of apprentices
• Finalising jobs and paperwork
Minimum Requirements:
• Experience in the Agricultural/Machinery Industry
• Qualified Automotive Technician
• Experience in parts or service
• Experience running an efficient team
• Computer literate
• Excellent work ethic
This job is workshop based however visits to clients will be necessary from time-to-time.
