We are looking for a stylist to join our team, working in a fun children's family hair salon.
We would love to have a barber with experience in fades and hair designs but also consider an experienced Hairdresser.
This is a part time weekend role, working every second weekend Saturday and Sunday or every Saturday or Sunday or both.days every weekend.
There is also potential to work two weeks every school term in April, June, September and December, although this isn't a requirement for the role but a bonus if you have the ability to do so! Opportunities to grow your hours as the business grows too.
At Mermaids and Mullets Children's Hair Salon we pride ourselves on creating positive experiences, in a stress free environment for children and their families.
So we looking for an amazing hairdresser or Barber who has the ability to work efficiently and in a timely manner.
The right person MUST be patient, empathetic, kind, caring, friendly, professional, and have excellent customer service skills.
You would be working with the salon owner and another stylist but at times on your own.
Most of all, you need to have an excellent rapport with children and their parents.
Although this role can be challenging at times working with small wriggly children and children with sensory sensitivities, it is also an extremely rewarding and fun job! We provide multiple distractions that help with this.
HOURS
Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM
Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM
