As an Electrical Trades Tutor, you'll help deliver qualifications in electrical skills, including working with pre-trade students. Your main focus will be teaching elementary electrical skills to new entrants to the trade.
Your hands-on expertise is the most important thing, so you'll be a registered electrician who holds a minimum of National Certificate, or equivalent. It would be ideal if you've already completed a Certificate of Tertiary Teaching and Learning Level 5, but if not we can support you to complete it.
Along with a significant amount of recent, practical electrical experience, you'll show a genuine desire to pass on your expertise and mentor and educate our students, making them enthusiastic about the electrical trade. You'll also bring excellent communication and time management skills.
