Selwyn Kids is looking for a qualified ECE Teacher to join our community based team as a Homebased Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will be someone with:
flexibility
passionate about home based education
drive to help grow our service
ability to increase their hours, when needed.
To be eligible for this role you must be:
a fully qualified and registered early childhood teacher
highly motivated and passionate
a self-starter who has the ability to manage their own workload
highly organised
excellent time management skills
a strong communicator both verbally and written
be able to relate to and support our educators who work alongside our children as well as be able to build strong relationships with adults and children.
able to inspire our educators with their educational learning and development
has good understanding of internal evaluation, assessment and Te Whariki
have full clean drivers licence
The home based co-ordinator role includes:
monthly visits with children
organising playgroups and outings
hosting professional development workshops for families and educators
promotion in the community of Selwyn Kids and all services
The role is 30 hours per week but would consider different part time hours for the right candidate.
