Ideally you will need a sense of humour, ability to work under pressure while staying calm and cheerful, have an attention to detail and accept that this may be in a vibrant, non-quiet, lively, crowded work environment where every day is a new adventure.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for leading the processes and practices involved with our library collection and the promotion of its use. You will assist students, teachers, staff and community in utilising this key school resource to its full potential. You will also be responsible for managing the resource area to ensure timely and efficient access and promotion of resources to enhance our learning programmes. Our librarian will be confident in using library and learning tools and have the skills and enthusiasm to inspire our learners through literacy. We are looking for someone who promotes the library as a hub of literacy and learning enjoyment.
