We are looking for our next au pair to join our family in Melbourne for a 6 month period starting around September (when our current au pair goes home to Christchurch).
We are a family of 5 (5 year old girl, 3 year old girl and 2 year old boy) .
You will be our fourth au pair, we have had a great experience with our first three au pairs from New Zealand, the Netherlands & France. You are welcome to speak to them about their experience with us.
We are looking for a ‘big sister’ for the children, someone who can built a strong relationship with them and play with them - they love craft, baking & puzzles.
We will provide you with a queen size bed, your own bathroom and a private retreat area with a television upstairs (the rest of the family live downstairs).
We live in Hawthorn, a leafy, inner city suburb of Melbourne which is a 10 minute train ride into the city. Our house is a less than a 10 minute walk to a train station, two supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, a pool, a gym, a yoga studio, parks, playgrounds, a cinema, a tennis court and a library.
I thought this could be a good option for someone who was hoping to take a gap year however can't travel overseas at the moment.
If you would like to come on holidays with our family we will take you camping for a week and for weekend trips to our beach house.
