These are Programme Manager roles and the successful applicant must:
Be over the age of 20 years.
Have a full clean driver’s license.
Have a passion for working with children.
Have experience dealing with children aged 5 – 13 year.
Have the ability to plan, create and implement an interactive and fun session for the children.
Ensure a safe and caring environment that children can grow and develop.
Be able to delegate tasks among rostered staff
Be able to form positive relationships with children, families, school staff and other employed staff.
Have clear and effective communication skills
Be able to problem solve situations and follow through on agreed solutions in a positive manner.
Most importantly is the ability to smile and to have fun with the children
It would be beneficial for applicants to have:
A background in Child behaviour and managing situations
A first aid certificate.
These positions are a Monday to Friday role term time between 2.15pm to 6.00pm and during the Holiday Programme 7.15am – 6.00pm. There is also an option of further hours between 7am - 8:45am.
This is an exciting and very rewarding position, as you watch and encourage children and your assistants grow and develop. You will receive ongoing training and personal development throughout the year as part of the OSCAR sector requirement, we have monthly meetings to support our leaders. You will be part of a fun and supportive environment.
