Due to the growth of our business, we are currently seeking a full-time, intermediate to advanced Joinery CAD Detailer/ Estimator to join our team.

Tweakit is an established, family-owned Joinery business in the Manawatu. We provide design, manufacture and installation services to the residential, commercial and bespoke joinery markets. The CAD Detailer/ Estimator position is primarily a production role, where you will be using Cabinet Vision software to produce CAD drawings and taking these through to the CNC ready for manufacture. As part of the role, you will be required to check the plans from final measure, order material and keep a consistent flow of work into our factory. You will also be required to produce CAD drawings and create quotes from Architects and Designers drawings.

Job Requirements:

Must have had experience in the joinery in a similar role
Must be confident in all aspects of cabinetry
You will be accurate and process driven
Organised and efficient
Experience / knowledge in Cabinet Vision.
Deliver on time frames. Key responsibilities include:
Can take kitchen designers concept drawing and turning it into a detailed and accurate set of plans that is then presented to the client and other trades
Ensure your drawings are to construction standard before you order materials
Liaise with the Designers regarding design issues
Prioritise work as per job schedule
It's essential you have experience or knowledge with kitchen manufacturing to ensure you get it spot on for the client
Detailing of joinery items and nesting to the Joinery team and liaise with them regularly to run the projects through the factory.
Produce drawings for sign off and shop drawings.
