About the role
This role will be working as part of a team providing care for clients in addiction. You will uphold the values and mission of The Salvation Army.
Key tasks:
Provision of comprehensive assessments
Treatment case management
Group work
One-to-one supportive intervention
Facilitating after care planning
Person specification:
Experience in case management
Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
Experience in group work and one-to-one counselling
Ability to work in a team environment
Have a willingness to work from a bicultural perspective, having an awareness of the Treaty of Waitangi
Empathy with the values and mission of The Salvation Army
Full driver's licence
Registered AOD Practitioner or Degree in Addictions or related field i.e. Nursing, Social Work, Counselling or Psychology
