About the company:
We are a locally owned occupational health provider which services the Taranaki region. We are looking to add a nurse to our team who can continue to provide the same quality service to all our clients - with a passion for improving employee health.
About the position:
The successful applicant would ideally have experience in Occupational Health or a nurse with General Practice experience. Although this is desired this is not essential as training will be provided on the job.
This role is for 30-40 hours per week, hours are negotiable but must be willing and able to do some early starts. Looking for an immediate start.
Scope of work will include but is not limited to pre-employment, annual and baseline health assessments - this includes spirometry, audiometry, vision and musculoskeletal assessments. Drug and alcohol testing. Health education. Vaccinations and phlebotomy.
Key Skills of Applicant:
Full drivers license
Current APC
Current vaccination certificate
Sound computer skills
Ability to work alone and fit into a team environment
Willingness to provide health education
