Alliance Health Plus Trust (AH+) is a Pacific-led Primary Health Care Organisation (PHO) operating out of Mt Wellington, Auckland. The team at AH+ contracts a range of health and community care services to a network of service providers. We place high value on maintaining our working relationships and our reputation for delivery with our key stakeholders. Our point of difference as a PHO is our strong focus on improving health outcomes for Pacific, high need and vulnerable populations across Auckland. The organisation is also focused on service improvement and performance.

We are looking for a new team member who is self-managing and ‘forward thinking’ to perform the duties of the Pacific Equity Programme Manager. The position will be part of the Pacific Equity Team. The position will have responsibilities for developing, implementing, managing and reporting on programmes for our Pacific community. A significant part of the role is focused around contract management and reporting. Strong relationship management skills are therefore critical to this position as well as previous experience in working with the community.

The role would suit someone who is interested in new ways of working alongside service delivery providers to maximise opportunities and outcomes for the Pacific community, providers and funders. Effective written and verbal communication is essential for this role. The ideal applicant will have an affinity with Pacific cultural values and beliefs and an understanding of Pacific inequalities is essential. Full Time Fixed Term till 31 December 2022 (with possibility of extension).
