We are seeking a committed, experienced care giver who has a passion for supporting older people in a rest home. This is a part time role of seven 8 hour shifts per fortnight (56 hours). We are a supportive team in a happy little rest home of 27 beds supporting people with a variety of needs. The hourly rate ranges from $21.76 to $27.33 depending on experience and qualifications.
This is a sole charge position as such you will need to be highly organised, and have the highest standards of integrity and trustworthiness. You will also have a kind heart and genuine interest in helping the elderly, reliable, and be medication competent (training can be given in this area, though this must be successfully completed). Whilst not essential as on the job training is provided, you may have a level 2, 3 or 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing.
