Enable New Zealand is one of the largest providers of support services across the health, rehabilitation and disability sector for the provision of equipment, housing and vehicle modifications, holding regional and national contracts with the Ministry of Health, ACC and District Health Boards. Enable New Zealand is an operating division of MidCentral District Health Board, with its head office in Palmerston North, with sites in Christchurch and Hamilton.

The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves transforming data into useful and meaningful information that can be used across the organisation to ensure our services continually improve outcomes for disabled people and their whanau.

The Performance Insights Analyst will work closely with all areas of the business to ensure the development of data requirements, analysis and reporting that support a value-based service model and investment approach aligned to the Enabling Good Lives (EGL) framework.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience working at a senior level providing in depth analysis, KPI reporting and advice tailored to the audience.
Experience working in a data warehouse environment including data extraction, transformation, loading, reporting and analysis.
Experience working with various project methodologies including agile.
Experience in identifying business and data requirements and facilitating meetings to identify requirements.
Significant experience of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Experience with Microsoft Finance and Operations ERP is beneficial, or experience with other similar financial/ERP systems.

MidCentral District Health Board employs more than 2500 staff at Manawatu, Palmerston North, Tararua and Horowhenua and Otaki districts.

Palmerston North Hospital is a 350 bed secondary hospital, which services an urban population of 80,000 and a total population catchment of 168,000. In addition, the hospital is a teaching hospital, and is associated with both Auckland and Otago medical schools.

Palmerston North is a major university city and is at the hub of key routes to the central North Island ski fields, and river adventures. Wellington the capital city, is only a two hour journey by road, as are the wine growing regions of Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa.
