Experienced Practice nurse wanted part-time, for Auckland Integrative Medical Centre in Mother-Well, a friendly multidisciplinary medical/ natural health centre in Mt. Eden.
To be considered for this position, you need to have a:
Current New Zealand Nursing Practicing Certificate
Vaccinators Certificate
Computer literacy , preferably Medtech 32 experienced
CPR certificate
Holistic health interest or open to learning about holistic health
At least three to five years experience as a Practice Nurse
This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is interested in nutritional, mindbody, lifestyle and relational approaches to health. We are looking for a nurse who is enthusiastic , self- motivated and works as a team member. You will be working as a part-time nurse with two General Practitioners, who are passionate about empowering patients to take responsibility for their health, using Integrative medicine. We have another part-time experienced nurse with whom you share the nursing work .
This medical centre offers potential for you to be involved in developing innovative approaches to well-being and skills in holistic health promotion . We provide regular ( weekly) educational, collaborative in-service meetings. Your practice will also include standard practice nurse work including: triage assessment, immunizations, phone advice, recalls, wound care, patient follow-up and nursing administrative duties.
