Primary Mental Health and Addictions Clinician

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Primary Mental Health Clinical Services team to co-ordinate and deliver a Primary Health Care service for clients/whanau with mild-moderate mental health issues.
This primary health care service will involve case management, assessment, brief intervention and referral and interaction with other community services, including support to general practice and data collection and analysis.
We are seeking someone who has:
- A NZ Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional practicing certificate, and has or is working towards relevant post graduate qualifications.
- At least 5 years recent experience as a mental health and/or addictions practitioner.
- Proven experience working with both adult and youth and is passionate in improving service accessibility, and supporting those experiencing with mental health challenges experienced in our community.
- Experience in developing and maintaining productive relationships with other health professionals.
- Experience in brief opportunistic interventions and brief therapy.
- Strong computer literacy and communication skills and a current drivers licence.
- You must have the right to work in NZ and/or have a current NZ work visa.
