Saturday to Wednesday (40 Hours)
We are looking for a full time experienced General Nurse, to be based at Mt Eden Bridge, providing nurse cover to Waitakere and Manukau Bridges. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team this role will be under the direction of a new Nurse Team Leader (currently in recruitment). Assisting in GP clinics, delivery of health groups, Nursing plans for clients and overseeing medicine practices with staff as well as day-to-day duties.
This role will provide challenge and great moments of enjoyment and success to the right candidate.
We are a dedicated Alcohol and Other Drug treatment team who provide both residential and day client services to those experiencing alcohol or other drug problems.

Person Specification
Must be registered to practice as a general nurse in New Zealand with a valid NZ annual practicing certificate, having achieved a minimum Level 2;
Experienced working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures;
Preferred clinical experience working with clients from Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD);
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Preferred experience in group facilitation or training;
Ability to work independently or within a multidisciplinary environment;
Able to work from a bicultural perspective;
Have a full drivers' licence.
To be appointed in this role, applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit and give permission for the completion of a satisfactory police check.
