The Role
This is a permanent full time Registered Nurse position working 64 to 80 hours per fortnight over all shifts across the facility. After orientation there may be the option of permanent night shift if that is preferred.

Your role will include but not limited to:

Consult with the residents and their families
Assess residents needs and health status
Develop and review care plans
Administer treatment as needed
Support the Unit Manager
InterRAI Competency is preferred but training will be provided.

The Person

A qualified nurse with a current New Zealand practicing certificate and a right to work in New Zealand which we can assist with if needed
Have a passion for caring for the elderly and infirm with a flair for helping people maintain their independence and choice in homely surroundings
Demonstrate a proven ability to lead, guide and support your team, delegate effectively and promote excellent working relationships
Demonstrate a respectful, courteous and compassionate nature and belief in giving your personal best at all times
