We are looking for caring, competent and reliable caregivers to work with our clients in their own homes. Positions are available to join our team in Wellington.
You will have a reliable car, a current licence, good references and be able to demonstrate a caring and responsible attitude to those for whom you provide assistance. All candidates are subject to a police check.
Experience and qualifications are an advantage, but not essential. Wages are tied to qualification level. Unqualified candidates who meet other requirements are welcome to apply on the understanding you will need to train for formal qualifications within six months.
The services we supply to our clients range from home help which is basic cleaning, to personal care such as assistance with showering, dressing or food preparation.
Weekend, evening, and early morning work will be required on a rostered basis. Some of our clients have complex needs and any experience in hoist lifting, bowel cares, passive exercises and personal care will be an advantage.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. Fluency and comprehension of spoken English is essential.
