The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the team to deliver services to some of the most vulnerable members of the communities we serve. Services include social work, advocacy support, food bank support and our drop in centre based in Newtown.
An ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
A recognised social services qualification, working towards a recognised qualification or equivalent experience
Demonstrated social services capability, ideally with experience in the area of vulnerable adults
Demonstrated experience in managing and providing internal supervision to colleagues
Success in leading and supporting reporting staff and/or initiatives that improve the quality of service delivery
Proven experience in supporting staff with decision-making in relation to day to day activities
Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative peer and other stakeholder relationships
