We are a proudly independent, privately owned practice having been serving our North Canterbury community for over 50 years. With 34 vets and over 50 support staff, we work closely as a team to deliver a wide range of services. We are proud of our purpose-built, state of the art clinic which includes our near new spacious hospital, 2 large theatres, a dental suite, 20 walk-in kennels, 6 consult rooms and a separate cattery all built to Best Practice Hospital Standards.

About the Position:

We have 2 positions available, a part time and casual position. The positions are varied and interesting and involves work across the clinic, consulting, hospital care nursing, surgical rosters and client relations.

The ideal applicant will have a vet nursing qualification, you will need to be enthusiastic, adaptable, and proactive and be committed to providing a first-rate service that exceeds our BESTPractice Accredited hospital standards. We are very well resourced with all the equipment you would expect from a hospital standard practice and have our own After-Hours Service independently staffed from our day clinic.

Your nursing skills will be well utilised, and you will be well supported through a training and an induction period by a team of 20 skilled and fun nurses.
