First Vets is Whanganui’s newest independent and privately owned companion animal veterinary clinic. With a custom building fit out and all new equipment we are looking for a Part time veterinary technician or veterinary nurse to join our dynamic and rapidly growing practice. As a Vet Tech or Vet Nurse, you will be required to use your technical skills and customer service skills to deliver an exceptional level of care to clients and their pets.
Located in Whanganui (central North Island on the West Coast), we are well within driving distance of Mount Ruapehu and Mount Taranaki, Wellington, Taupo, and many other tourist destinations. The Whanganui River is an outdoor pursuits dream!
Position requirements:
A BVTech degree or Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, or equivalent
A confident and respectful manner towards customers and team members
Previous customer service experience is an advantage
