We are in transport business and looking for an efficient and experienced person for the position of an Administrative Clerk cum Driver who understands the business and coordinate the owner and team in smooth operations of business. The expected role of administrative role will 50% or more. Administrative tasks will be a priority over the driving role.
Under this role, you have to:-

coordinate with transport staff on matters relating to the transport and logistics operations
communication with business associates and government officials and keep records of important correspondence for future reference,
prepare reports, brief notes, answering mails and keep correspondence with authorities to meet all types of compliances and other daily based documents
maintain confidential files and documents, filing of correspondence and maintaining their records
maintaining appointment diaries and making travel arrangements whenever required by owner or any staff member,
Keep the important information in summary pertaining to important letters and documents in written form.
attend and organize meetings,
look after all the clerical work related to business
performing driving role as per weekly roaster
verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods, and obtaining certification of deliveries while performing driving duties.
Observing safety requirements pertaining to loading and unloading of vehicles while performing as driver.
Regular checks of vehicles to ensure all are in good running conditions etc.

An ideal candidate must have:-

Computing skills e.g. use of internet, emails, MS Word etc.
Class 4/5 NZ driver’s license
Drug free & clear police record
Great sense of responsibility
Should be flexible to work on weekends whenever required
Business/management qualification will be an advantage The right candidate will be given good remuneration. Applicant must be NZ citizen/resident or valid work visa holder.
