RoofingSmiths Wanaka and Queenstown work on some of the highest quality Residential, Commercial and Architectural projects in the area. By joining the company, you will be taking your place alongside 23 qualified roofers who have completed their apprenticeship within the company.
The apprenticeship is fully funded by the company and takes 3 years to complete. You would then be expected to remain with the company for at least 2 years after completing your apprenticeship.
The basic qualifications to enter an apprenticeship program are as follows:
*Minimum age of 18
*Physically fit
*The right to permanently live and work in New Zealand for at least 5 years.
You will be working within a small team and should be able to take direction and training from managers and peers. You should be well organised and pay close attention to detail, be reliable and arrive to work paying attention to personal hygiene, wearing the correct supplied uniform and not under the influence of any intoxicating substances.
Driving Licence is an advantage. No previous experience required, but being reasonably practical is preferable.
The position can be based in your choice of either Queenstown or Wanaka.
