Living in the Teviot Valley is a great place to be, friendly relaxed people with a bit of space between property's making it even safer with big bubbles, love the outdoors, want a slice of the property market at a reasonable price (although its going up fast! because the secret is out) enjoy hunting and fishing or even if you are into motorsport Highlands is only 45mins away.
Or just want to get the bike out and cruz our many cycle trails beside the mighty Clutha river on a 25plus deg day in the summer we have it all.

Travel to work is a breeze with everyone starting their day at different times there is no traffic hold ups unless the farm next door is shifting stock.
Great Area School here in town taking the kids from year one till they are finished ready for Polytechnic or uni.
On sight our team consists of Two Office staff (office is also home to NZ Postal agency so have three postal workers based there although they are leaving on the day runs as we get to work) and three in the workshop, They have a combined knowledge of over 100years, one has a large engineering back ground and loves hunting/fishing, one has large back ground in all things automotive and classic cars, and the boss has 20 plus years in automotive and is passionate about all things cars with a love for Japaneses sports cars and racing, and we also have work experience kids from the local school a couple of hours a week.
A unique opportunity has arisen within our busy workplace for a qualified automotive engineer (or you). Our workshop has a vast array of jobs on a daily basis ranging from WOF’s & services to engineering, mechanical repairs on cars, light trucks, horticultural and agricultural machinery.
The valley is also home to a few classics, hot-rods and high HP weapons.
Hours of work are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
During the summer we also do on site service work for a couple of large orchards.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
• New Zealand resident
• Reliable and hardworking
• Able to handle and manage a busy workload
• Excellent customer service skills
• WOF inspector authority an advantage but not necessary
• Experience in electronic diagnosis and repair (with the aid of scan tools)
• Excellent attention to detail and complete tasks to a high standard
Whilst a personal tool kit is required, all other tools and equipment is provided within the workshop for common use. Applicants are required to hold a clean driver’s licence.
