We are looking to employ a beekeeper based in Tokomaru Bay.
Ideally the person will have experience as a beekeeper with at least 2 seasons beekeeping experience.
The position will be full time work starting at 40 hours per week. The person will need to have the ability to work longer and flexible hours through spring until late autumn, with some evening or night work
You will need to be a practical person who is able to work as part of a team and alone, reliable, honest, have a positive attitude, good communication skills, pass a drug test and be physically fit and able. Ideally the right person will have a full driver's licence, HT licence and a DECA certificate (not essential).
The package will include a work vehicle, cell phone and contract, and a 3 bedroom house rent free with free internet. This position will be subject to a 90 day trial. It is a fixed term position until the end of the season but with a definite possibility of it becoming a permanent position based in Tokomaru Bay for the right person.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
