Hi all. Casual landscape gardening position available from the week of April 10th. I’m looking for an energetic worker who is a hedge trimming star and has an eye for detail. Gardening experience/horticultural knowledge who’s looking for extra work preferred. On job training available for the right person but must be physically fit and able to trim hedges from a ladder.
I can offer 1-2 days a week and extra days a week on a casual basis. Will have the option to move to 4 days a week possibly in the next few months. Usually 2 days 8.30-4pm. Can be flexible to work in with school hours or other commitments etc. Will suit someone establishing their own business or who is looking for extra hours.
Must be honest, respectful and have a positive attitude.
Good personal presentation.
Good communication skills.
Confident working at heights.
Strong and fit.
Ability to use an extendable hedge trimmer up a ladder. Strong upper body strength is needed.
You will need to be self employed and pay your own tax and know a weed from a plant.
You’ll be working alongside me looking after high-end residential, lifestyle and body corporate gardens across Tauranga. Omokoroa-Papamoa.
