TM Paitai Transport Ltd is a privately-owned Company and specialise in delivery of Bulk Industrial Gases.
We are currently looking for a hardworking Class 5 Tanker driver (male or female) based out of Picton, who enjoys a variety of work each day to join our team servicing our customers in the lower North Island and Marlborough District.
You will be the face of our business on site with our customers so it is important that you enjoy dealing with people and have good problem solving skills, patience and that you can demonstrate a personal commitment to Health & Safety standards in the workplace.
Our ideal candidate would have the following attributes and skills:
• At least 5 years Class 5 experience
• Reliability and dependability
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow procedures
• Physically fit and eager to work hard
• Previous tanker experience preferred but training can be provided to the right person
• DG endorsement and Approved Filler Certificate is desirable but not necessary as additional training required for this position will be provided to the right person.
If you have a proven track record of driving safely and have a good attitude, we are confident we can train you in the right way to safely execute your role at a high level.
You will be required to complete a Drug and Alcohol screening and Ministry of Justice check.
Applicants for this position must have NZ residence
Please Note: Start date for the successful applicant will be dependent on when the Covid-19 lockdown is lifted and Health Authorities direction regards continued Infection Control measures. Tentatively we would be looking at a start date for training around the 4th week in April all going well.
