We are looking for an experienced class 5 driver to fill our nightshift run from Oamaru to Dunedin. Minimum of 40 hours a week but potential to work the maximum legal driving hours as required.
This position requires flexibility and will involve loading and unloading of trucks. Also has the possibility for the odd run into Central Otago, Christchurch and weekend runs.
Applicants must possess the following:
Full and clean Class 5 licence.
Be able to navigate a B-train, truck and trailer and other configuration of trucks.
Pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
Clean criminal history, pre-checks are carried out through Ministry of Justice.
Must be able to provide solid references with stable work history.
Must be reliable, honest and punctual.
A firm understanding of NZ road rules and regulation, up to date knowledge is important.
Physically fit (lifting involved).
Good presentation, great customer service & an ability to complete daily paper work.
Forklift & DG endorsements essential.
