JG Haulage is a family owned, Hawkes Bay based company providing logistic solutions North Island wide.
We are looking for a Class 5 bulk truck driver to be based in Napier, servicing North Island wide. On a day-to-day basis you will be driving a truck and trailer unit carting a variety of bulk materials from Fertilizer, Stockfeed, Aggregate and much more. Flexibility is a must as the role will involve some nights away. Training is available for the right applicant.
To be successful in this role you must have:
A clean class 5 drivers licence with at least 12 months experience
Be able to drive a manual gearbox, confident in jack-knifing, tipping, off road deliveries, able to confidently self-load (Training is available for the right person if you cannot meet all of these skills)
Be flexible and able to work weekends when required (mainly during peak season)
A positive attitude and great work ethic
A sound understanding of health and safety and logbook requirements
Have clear communication skills to communicate with customers, dispatchers and other staff
Forklift, WTR licence is an advantage
Right to work in New Zealand
Be able to pass a drug test
