We are a Transport company based in Whangarei/Auckland is looking for an experienced and talented individual who can drive Class-5 Trucks. We as a business need to meet our health and safety obligations at all Alert Levels, including engaging staff and managing risks. We were and are fully operating in all Alert Levels as we provide delivery services to produce, chill and frozen products to the supermarkets.
The applicant should have:
Current valid clean class 5 licence
forklift endorsement
Must be experienced in reversing heavy road ranger truck and trailer, B-train, A train and Semi
Must have geographical knowledge of New Zealand
Must have experience in Delivering Produce, Chill and frozen product.
Able to work on rotation shift.
Must be physically fit
You should carry out routine checks of your truck
Must be able to load with long forks if required
Check the condition of the load and make sure its secure
Follow the correct safety procedures if goods being transported and dangerous
Keep records of and check invoices for materials they are carrying
Keep Logbooks of hours you will work
Applicant should have basic knowledge of the mechanics of the truck and how to maintain it
Must have at least 1 years experience in Truck driving
Must have good communication skills
must have good mathematics (as job required basic mathematic skills)
Must pass company induction
knowledge of transport law and related industry law
knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazards conditions
