We have an opportunity for you available starting March 2024 and can fit the role for the right person. This is a good situation for someone who wants to grow within the dairy industry. Start as the herd manager and move into a contract milking role, or move from a 2IC position to farm manager. We want to take a step back from the day to day operations and concentrate on future proofing our farm infrastructure.
You will be a someone who is hungry to move forward in the dairy industry, either already familiar with the latest on farm tech or keen and able to learn. You will really enjoy working with cows (ours are very quiet and we want to keep them that way). You will have a great work ethic, working safely and efficiently while respecting the farm infrastructure and equipment that we have spent a lot of time and money maintaining. You will be rewarded with a great pay and benefits package along with a roster we negotiate to suit you.
We are on a beautiful elevated north facing farm - only 15 minute drive from Huntly (but a world away from Huntly in lifestyle) in a great rural community with a local primary school just down the road. There is a three bedroom two bathroom modern house available.
Roster and Pay negotiable depending on experience and level of responsibility.
