Grada Recruitment are currently recruiting an Experienced Drillers or Lead hand with a great understanding of Drilling and Geo-technical stabilization techniques, if you have experience with rope access or confined spaces this will be a big advantage.
We are working with two well-known and highly respected Geo-technical, Ground Engineering and Slope Stabilization contractors across New Zealand, the work often includes repairs and maintenance of road side and sea front slips.
YOU:
Good communication, both written and verbal
Previous experience planning and scheduling workloads and crews
Natural leadership and a desire to develop others
Fantastic understanding of the New Zealand H&S rules and regulations
Previous experience in Drainage & Excavations
Previous management experience
As a Driller you are expected to be able to offer guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff as well as ensuring workloads are being managed correctly and safely in accordance with NZ H&S standards.
